Baked Alaska

This was a special request and I made for the last day of school. All the teachers loved it!

My family will give me a dare for something new to try and bake and so I was told to make a Baked Alaska. I happened to make it on the last day of school when family from out of town was over so we all got to enjoy it together.

• Pound cake
• Oreo cookie crumble
• Layers of Mint Chip, Cookies and Cream, & Vanilla Ice Cream
• Meringue covering the top then torched

ABOUT ME

I am a young baker and passionate swimmer.

Since I was little I have loved being in the kitchen baking up something for everyone to try. I always when I have time try to get into the kitchen and try a new recipe. I swim 5 days a week during the week. It is very common that I will come to swimming with a plate of cookies or cupcakes for everyone try. Most of the time I try to experiment and do something new when I’m in the kitchen. I have started a baking binder so I can see what I have baked and see if they were a success. No matter what I love baking and I want to share the joy I get when tasting what I have created with other people.
